An armchair is no substitute for physiotherapy or treatment by a person. Anyone who wants to relieve a specific muscle tension should continue to go there, and that's perfectly fine.
What the chair can do, however, is this: It's ready at 10:30 in the evening, no appointment necessary, no travel required, and no one else needs to be available.
