Endurance test under real-world conditions
In 5 private lounges, 10 massage chairs are in almost continuous use daily from 11 a.m. to 21 p.m. With typical home use of 25–30 minutes daily, a chair accumulates around 150–180 hours per year – ours achieve many times that.
Error codes, wear analyses, and feedback flow directly back into the design and firmware. Weaknesses are revealed here first – not at the customer's end.

Four factors are decisive: the mechanics (the 4D massage head and rail length determine how precise and deep the massage is), the durability of the cushions, motors, and bearings, the software (natural massage patterns instead of mechanical sequential movement), and the service, including spare parts availability. NAIPO tests all models in continuous operation in its own relaxation lounges in Hamburg before any changes go into series production.
NAIPO operates its own relaxation lounges in Hamburg, where each chair is in continuous, real-world use for over 2.400 hours per year – more than 15 times typical home use. Error data, wear analyses, and customer feedback from this facility are directly incorporated into development processes in Hamburg and Shenzhen. Hardly any other manufacturer tests under comparable real-world conditions.
At two locations: product concept, ergonomics and software tuning in Hamburg, mechanical, electronic and manufacturing development in the engineering hub in Shenzhen. Both teams work in daily coordination.
At the NAIPO Relax Lounges in Hamburg – HafenCity and Ballindamm. There, all current models can be extensively tested and private lounges can be booked.
